Hace unos a\u00f1os le diagnosticaron c\u00e1ncer nuevamente y finalmente falleci\u00f3 a la edad de 67 a\u00f1os. <\/p>\n<h2>Carrera<\/h2>\n<p>A la edad de 23 a\u00f1os, a Martine Tanghe se le permiti\u00f3 comenzar en la cadena p\u00fablica el 1 de febrero.  En las d\u00e9cadas de 1970 y 1980 todav\u00eda no hab\u00eda presentadores de noticias a tiempo completo: los periodistas combinaban el trabajo de informes con presentaciones en el estudio.  Tanghe tambi\u00e9n hizo informes en el pa\u00eds y en el extranjero.  Incluso m\u00e1s tarde, Martine Tanghe es enviada ocasionalmente al campo.  Por ejemplo, fue reportera en el lugar durante el desastre del tren en P\u00e9crot el 27 de marzo de 2001.
