La iniciativa ciudadana ‘Stop de Torens’ se esfuerza desde hace tiempo por alejarse de los edificios de gran altura en Knokke-Heist. Dicen que quieren preservar la autenticidad y el encanto del municipio. El hecho de que el ayuntamiento ahora detenga los edificios de gran altura es su primera gran victoria. Seg\u00fan el comit\u00e9, tampoco hubo apoyo p\u00fablico para proyectos de gran altura.
