Con su Citro\u00ebn C3 tambi\u00e9n tuvo la mejor salida en las primeras especiales.  Pero en el KP de Mesen, casi al final del primer d\u00eda, las cosas salieron completamente mal.  Lef\u00e8bvre se sali\u00f3 de pista tras un error de direcci\u00f3n.  Su auto volc\u00f3 diez veces.  Milagrosamente sin lesiones. Lef\u00e8bvre hab\u00eda estado en una batalla de segundos con su retador franc\u00e9s Fourmaux todo el d\u00eda.  Al final, pudo colocar su Ford Fiesta en la pole position para el largo segundo d\u00eda.  Pero debe temer porque su retador no es el menor.  Freddy Loix corre tiempos brillantes, con Pieter Tsjoen a su lado.  Fast Freddy ya se llev\u00f3 el scratch en el pen\u00faltimo KP y Fourmaux, como primer belga, le sigue de cerca.  La diferencia es de apenas 25 segundos despu\u00e9s de ocho KP.
