que finalmente logr\u00e9 iniciar sesi\u00f3n con los datos que un colega me hab\u00eda enviado, le di el visto bueno.  Pens\u00e9 que mi pulgar se parec\u00eda un poco a un pulgar emoji y aparentemente ella tambi\u00e9n lo pens\u00f3.  &#8220;\u00bfSab\u00edas que eso se llama pulgar de boomer?&#8221;, pregunt\u00f3, y en la distancia escuch\u00e9 que la roca de mi realidad comenzaba a desmoronarse.  &#8220;No por m\u00ed&#8221;, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 apresuradamente.  Pero un conocido suyo, que tiene nuestra edad y trabaja en el negocio de la m\u00fasica, le envi\u00f3 un pulgar a un m\u00fasico m\u00e1s joven (&#8220;Gen Z&#8221;, dijo) y \u00e9l respondi\u00f3 que el pulgar se conoce como &#8220;pulgar boomer&#8221;.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"4be3-e2c6-0880-ed2a-7293-d313-626b-b33b\">\n<p>      Ahora estoy a unos 25 a\u00f1os de la \u00e9poca de la bonanza y, hasta donde yo s\u00e9, caigo bajo el t\u00edtulo de millennial, millennial geri\u00e1trico para ser precisos.  Y creo que es un pulgar fant\u00e1stico: simple y multifuncional.  En mis emojis de uso frecuente, tiene un lugar entre el coraz\u00f3n rojo, el coraz\u00f3n rosa, los ojos del coraz\u00f3n y la calavera (con huesos).\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"0baa-8a05-03eb-7473-cfa3-2e25-37f3-2ae4\">\n<p>      Utilizo el pulgar para todo el espectro entre &#8216;es bueno&#8217;, &#8216;bien&#8217;, &#8216;excelente&#8217; y &#8216;bien&#8217;.  Me estoy rindiendo.  \u00bfConfirmar cita?  Pulgar.  \u00bfEl contratista dice que se pondr\u00e1 en contacto contigo ma\u00f1ana?  Pulgar.  \u00bfEst\u00e1 de vacaciones en el grupo de aplicaciones un amigo que indica que est\u00e1 leyendo un libro en alg\u00fan lugar bajo el sol y por lo tanto viene m\u00e1s tarde?  Pulgar.  \u00bfEl mec\u00e1nico de autom\u00f3viles que dice que puedo recoger mi auto a las 3:00 p. m.?  Pulgar.  \u00bfUn vendedor de Vinted dice que enviar\u00e1 mi compra ma\u00f1ana?  Pulgar.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"02b7-086e-ff16-cea8-6fb8-c290-2fe1-59f8\">\n<p>      Pulgar.  Pulgar.  Pulgar.  Pulgar pulgar.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"1b1e-17c1-7cbe-009c-1f4d-a332-5dae-2a01\">\n<p>      Otro colega, a quien le he enviado varios pulgares arriba en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, dijo que el pulgar tambi\u00e9n se experimenta como pasivo-agresivo.  Todav\u00eda estamos hablando del pulgar emoji normal aqu\u00ed, as\u00ed que no la etiqueta de WhatsApp del pulgar que es mitad pulgar y mitad erecci\u00f3n.  &#8220;La Generaci\u00f3n Z est\u00e1 experimentando cada vez m\u00e1s el emoji de pulgar hacia arriba como sarc\u00e1stico o incluso hostil&#8221;, se lee en un art\u00edculo en el sitio web de <i>Psicolog\u00eda Hoy<\/i>.  En otro art\u00edculo, el editor en jefe de Emojipedia agrega que el pulgar hacia arriba se ve como una &#8220;respuesta perezosa&#8221;.  Particularmente en un ambiente de trabajo, el pulgar se experimenta como &#8216;problem\u00e1tico&#8217;.  &#8220;Solo pres\u00e9ntate&#8221;, dice alguien. <i>Reddit<\/i>, &#8220;\u00bfC\u00f3mo se sentir\u00eda si entrara en la oficina de su jefe, le dijera algo y \u00e9l se volviera hacia usted, lo mirara a los ojos y luego le diera un pulgar hacia arriba&#8221;.  S\u00ed, imag\u00ednense.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"f9d2-4fe9-7845-681c-add5-17cd-d69b-feb4\">\n<p>      El pulgar hacia arriba ha perdido su inocencia bonachona.  Eso solo puede significar una cosa.
