Domenico Pozzovivo es el s\u00e9ptimo corredor que en esta edici\u00f3n del Giro d’Italia abandona la carrera por culpa del Covid: el lucano de 40 a\u00f1os del Israel-Premier Tech no reiniciar\u00e1 para la d\u00e9cima etapa, Scandiano-Reggio Emilia de 196 km . As\u00ed como su compa\u00f1ero dan\u00e9s Mads Wurtz Schmidt se ve obligado a retirarse: en este caso, el test de Covid dio negativo pero sus condiciones no son buenas y prefiri\u00f3 parar. Os recordamos que no hay obligaci\u00f3n de parar en caso de positividad a Covid: entre los 7 retirados por este motivo, los casos sobresalientes son los de Remco Evenepoel y Filippo Ganna.
