Demi Vollering gan\u00f3 la s\u00e9ptima edici\u00f3n de la Lieja-Basto\u00f1a-Lieja femenina, 143 kil\u00f3metros con salida de Basto\u00f1a y meta en Lieja con 9 piedras de afilar en el camino. Un hat-trick hist\u00f3rico para el holand\u00e9s de 26 a\u00f1os de SD Worx, que ya hab\u00eda conquistado Amstel y Freccia Vallone: \u200b\u200bsuyo fue el tr\u00edptico de las Ardenas en el mismo a\u00f1o que su compatriota Van der Breggen en 2017, y como entre los hombres solo Rebellin ha logrado hacerlo hasta ahora (2004) y Gilbert (2011). Pero tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 Italia en el podio de la cl\u00e1sica belga gracias a una excelente Elisa Longo Borghini, segunda: la piamontesa de 31 a\u00f1os del Trek-Segafredo estuvo bien entrando en la acci\u00f3n decisiva con Vollering y solo fue batida en el sprint.
