Italia es candidata a albergar el torneo cuatro a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>La asociaci\u00f3n turca, por otro lado, est\u00e1 adoptando un enfoque doble.  Present\u00f3 sus documentos para las dos finales del Campeonato de Europa.  Seg\u00fan la UEFA, el ejecutivo decidir\u00e1 sobre el premio en octubre.<\/p>\n<p>Inglaterra fue sede del torneo por \u00faltima vez en 1996.  Luego, Alemania se convirti\u00f3 en campeona de Europa tal como lo hab\u00eda hecho 16 a\u00f1os antes, cuando Italia fue sede de la final del Campeonato de Europa por \u00faltima vez.
