All\u00ed recibi\u00f3 el Premio Honor\u00edfico Joseph Plateau por su trayectoria.<\/p>\n<h2>Premiado internacionalmente<\/h2>\n<p>Servais naci\u00f3 en Ostende en 1928.  Estudi\u00f3 en la Real Academia de Bellas Artes.  All\u00ed desarroll\u00f3 su estilo y experiment\u00f3 con t\u00e9cnicas de animaci\u00f3n.  En 1963 fund\u00f3 el Departamento de Cine de Animaci\u00f3n, donde imparti\u00f3 clases durante muchos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Servais fue galardonado m\u00e1s de sesenta veces, incluida la Palma de Oro por &#8216;Harpya&#8217; en el Festival de Cine de Cannes en 1979. Adem\u00e1s de cineasta, Servais tambi\u00e9n fue pintor e ilustrador.
