Las auroras boreales eran claramente visibles en varios lugares del pa\u00eds.  Las im\u00e1genes en Twitter muestran un resplandor rojo y verde en el cielo, informa Hart van Nederland.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>La gente vio la aurora boreal en Genemuiden (Overijssel), Nijkerk (Gelderland), Dokkum (Friesland), Franeker (Friesland), Lauwersoog (Groningen) y el \u00e1rea de Wadden, entre otros.  Pero tambi\u00e9n en Egmond aan Zee el cielo se volvi\u00f3 rojo y verde.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>El fen\u00f3meno meteorol\u00f3gico es causado por part\u00edculas cargadas del sol que chocan con part\u00edculas de nitr\u00f3geno y ox\u00edgeno a enormes velocidades de cientos de kil\u00f3metros por segundo.  Esto sucede en lo alto de nuestra atm\u00f3sfera, entre 100 y 300 km de altitud.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Las part\u00edculas obtienen un mayor nivel de energ\u00eda debido a estas colisiones.
