La abad\u00eda es conocida por su cerveza trapense, Westvleteren. <\/p>\n<p>El l\u00fapulo solo se cosecha en septiembre, pero Ivan Lemahieu ya est\u00e1 recogiendo los brotes de esos l\u00fapulos.  Se tarda m\u00e1s de dos horas en recoger un kilo de brotes.  La primera cosecha ya se subast\u00f3 a finales de diciembre.<\/p>\n<p>Los brotes de l\u00fapulo se han convertido en un aut\u00e9ntico manjar.  Los precios de hasta 1.200 euros el kilo no son una excepci\u00f3n.
