Fue el primer barco all\u00ed entre 2012 y 2018.  Tras las elecciones locales de 2018, Geerinckx captur\u00f3 la faja.  As\u00ed se convirti\u00f3 en la primera alcaldesa de Zemst.  Geerinckx tambi\u00e9n es conocida como la &#8216;alcaldesa de curling&#8217;, ya que ha participado en varias ocasiones en el campeonato mundial de curling por equipos mixtos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph\">En las elecciones regionales de 2019, Geerinckx fue el segundo sucesor en la lista N-VA en Brabante flamenco.  Un puesto que ahora le otorga un esca\u00f1o en el parlamento flamenco.
