Pero debido a que en el futuro habr\u00e1 m\u00e1s enfoque en la energ\u00eda sostenible y renovable a trav\u00e9s de parques e\u00f3licos y paneles solares, la demanda de conexiones de alto voltaje tambi\u00e9n aumentar\u00e1, predice el ministro flamenco de Econom\u00eda, Jo Brouns (CD&#038;V). <\/p>\n<p>Es por eso que EnergyVille debe investigar a fondo las posibilidades de HVDC (corriente continua de alto voltaje) en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.  Esta tecnolog\u00eda est\u00e1 en auge, pero se necesita m\u00e1s investigaci\u00f3n para implementarla a gran escala.  A petici\u00f3n del gobierno flamenco, el centro de conocimientos present\u00f3 un programa de investigaci\u00f3n que tendr\u00e1 una duraci\u00f3n m\u00ednima de diez a\u00f1os.
