Un hombre alerta dio la voz de alarma porque le pareci\u00f3 extra\u00f1o que los dos hombres estuvieran sentados en el tranv\u00eda con dos costosas bicicletas sin ruedas.  M\u00e1s tarde result\u00f3 que fueron robados de un s\u00f3tano en De Panne.  Notific\u00f3 a la polic\u00eda de la costa oeste, que pudo detener r\u00e1pidamente al d\u00fao.  Fueron llevados ante el juez de instrucci\u00f3n el mi\u00e9rcoles.
