La noticia llega cuando la compa\u00f1\u00eda entra en control de da\u00f1os por el ca\u00f3tico despliegue de boletos de preventa para <strong>Taylor Swift<\/strong>La Gira de las Eras.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/11\/18\/technology\/live-nation-ticketmaster-investigation-taylor-swift.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Los New York Times<\/em> <\/a>informa que Live Nation Entertainment est\u00e1 siendo investigada por la divisi\u00f3n antimonopolio del Departamento de Justicia por cualquier posible abuso de poder y si &#8220;mantiene un monopolio sobre la industria&#8221;.  La investigaci\u00f3n llev\u00f3 al departamento a interrogar a quienes manejan la venta de boletos, as\u00ed como a los locales de m\u00fasica, sobre las pr\u00e1cticas de Live Nation.<\/p>\n<p>Esto se produce despu\u00e9s de que varios pol\u00edticos criticaran a Live Nation por ser un monopolio y controlar el mercado del entretenimiento en vivo.  El fiasco de Taylor Swift ha intensificado los llamados a dividir la empresa. <\/p>\n<p>Live Nation se fusion\u00f3 con Ticketmaster en 2010 luego de la aprobaci\u00f3n del Departamento de Justicia.  Cabe se\u00f1alar que la industria se opuso fuertemente a la fusi\u00f3n.  Para obtener la aprobaci\u00f3n del gobierno, Live Nation vendi\u00f3 partes de su negocio y acord\u00f3 varias condiciones para garantizar un mercado justo.  Una condici\u00f3n prohib\u00eda a la empresa presionar a los proveedores de boletos para que usaran su servicio sobre sus competidores.<\/p>\n<p>En 2019, el Departamento de Justicia encontr\u00f3 evidencia de que Live Nation viol\u00f3 repetidamente esas condiciones luego de una investigaci\u00f3n.  Esos t\u00e9rminos se extendieron luego hasta 2025.<\/p>\n<p>El medio encuentra que bajo esta nueva investigaci\u00f3n, que es anterior a lo que sucedi\u00f3 con el Eras Tour de Swift, el personal del Departamento de Justicia est\u00e1 investigando si Live Nation ha violado nuevamente estos acuerdos, adem\u00e1s de si tiene demasiado poder e influencia en la industria. <\/p>\n<p>Los representantes tanto del departamento como de Live Nation no han respondido a una solicitud de comentarios.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2022, ABC Audio.
