Como resultado, el tiempo perdido para aquellos que quer\u00edan conducir desde Brujas hacia el sur de la provincia aument\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente a m\u00e1s de tres cuartos de hora.  Pero el carril izquierdo tambi\u00e9n estaba cerrado en el otro sentido (hacia Brujas).  Como resultado, vuelve a haber una tarde de atascos en la E403.
