El veterano de Jumbo-Visma de 35 a\u00f1os tuvo problemas por un tiempo, pero pudo unirse al grupo l\u00edder despu\u00e9s de una persecuci\u00f3n.  Cruz\u00f3 la l\u00ednea en segundo lugar detr\u00e1s de Ludwig y mantuvo el liderato.<\/p>\n<p>Es la primera vez que los corredores holandeses son derrotados en el Tour.
