El AZ alquila al defensa de 20 a\u00f1os al mediocampista de primera divisi\u00f3n, que tambi\u00e9n ha pactado una opci\u00f3n de compra.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;Tijs es un defensor moderno que juega al f\u00fatbol con longitud\u201d, dice Eric Hellemons, director t\u00e9cnico de NAC Breda. &#8220;Es t\u00e1cticamente fuerte, juega disciplinado al servicio del equipo.  Adem\u00e1s, tiene una buena t\u00e9cnica de patada, con la que puede lanzar balones largos y cortos.  Con esta habilidad, puede ser importante en la fase de preparaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Velthuis lleg\u00f3 procedente del FC Twente en 2019 y luego se incorpor\u00f3 a la Sub 19. Un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s debut\u00f3 en primera divisi\u00f3n en el AZ, donde fue uno de los capitanes la temporada pasada.  Velthuis jug\u00f3 un total de 61 partidos con el Jong AZ en el f\u00fatbol profesional.<\/p>\n<p>Velthuis jugar\u00e1 con el entrenador Robert Molenaar en el NAC Breda.  El exentrenador del FC Volendam est\u00e1 al mando desde este verano.
