El grupo de Facebook Proper Strandlopers ahora tiene m\u00e1s de 6.000 seguidores.  Cada d\u00eda 400 voluntarios limpian un tramo de playa.  Hasta la fecha, Proper Standlopers ha recogido 220 toneladas de basura entre De Panne y Knokke-Heist.<\/p>\n<h2>Soporte financiero<\/h2>\n<p>Los Proper Strandlopers llamaron a la puerta del ministro flamenco de Medio Ambiente, Zuhal Demir, en busca de apoyo financiero, pero fue en vano.  Su \u00faltima esperanza es el ministro del Mar del Norte, Vincent Van Quickenborne.
