Ed Sheeran <\/strong>tiene numerosos premios en su vitrina de trofeos, pero el domingo se le otorg\u00f3 uno de los honores m\u00e1s significativos.<\/p>\n

A Ed se le otorg\u00f3 la Libertad de la Ciudad de Londres, \u00a1que se ha otorgado desde el a\u00f1o 1200! El honor ceremonial se otorga a quienes tienen fuertes lazos con la ciudad.<\/p>\n

Ed fue seleccionado para el premio porque es patrocinador de la Centro Irland\u00e9s de Londres<\/a>, que sirve como recurso para la poblaci\u00f3n irlandesa de la ciudad. El centro brinda servicios como sesiones de asesoramiento, conciertos, informaci\u00f3n, clases y m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

\u201cCreo que todo el mundo sabe cu\u00e1nto amo Londres y cu\u00e1nto ha sido parte de mi viaje musical, as\u00ed que recibir el Freedom of the City hoy es algo verdaderamente especial\u201d, coment\u00f3 la cantante al recoger el honor. <\/p>\n

Se\u00f1al\u00f3 a los otros ganadores del honor al declarar: \u201cDada la herencia irlandesa de mi familia, recibir el premio del primer alcalde irland\u00e9s de Londres, Vicente Keaveny<\/strong>y junto con los amigos del London Irish Centre, es una ventaja\u201d.<\/p>\n
