Belgrado (AP) – El saltador de p\u00e9rtiga sueco Armand Duplantis ha vuelto a mejorar su r\u00e9cord mundial.<\/b><\/p>\n

El campe\u00f3n ol\u00edmpico cruz\u00f3 6,19 metros en la cita bajo techo de Belgrado y aument\u00f3 as\u00ed en un cent\u00edmetro su registro anterior. Duplantis estableci\u00f3 el antiguo r\u00e9cord mundial el 15 de febrero de 2020 en Glasgow.<\/p>\n

“Creo que intent\u00e9 6,19 metros 50 veces”, dijo Duplantis: “Me llev\u00f3 mucho tiempo. Nunca hab\u00eda tenido una altura que me causara tantos problemas, as\u00ed que es una sensaci\u00f3n muy buena. He luchado mucho por en los \u00faltimos dos a\u00f1os”.<\/p>\n

En las reuniones en Karlsruhe y Berl\u00edn este invierno, el joven de 22 a\u00f1os fall\u00f3 por poco en 6,19 metros. En Belgrado, donde tambi\u00e9n se llevar\u00e1 a cabo el Campeonato Mundial Indoor de atletismo del 18 al 20 de marzo, funcion\u00f3 en el tercer intento. Duplantis confirmaba as\u00ed su papel de favorito para el Mundial en el mismo lugar en poco menos de dos semanas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
