Una haza\u00f1a legendaria en Brookline, Massachusetts: Matt Fitzpatrick, de 27 a\u00f1os, ingl\u00e9s de Sheffield, gan\u00f3 el US Open con ventaja sobre los estadounidenses Scottie Scheffler y Will Zalatoris: su marcador final -6 (68, 70, 68, 68). El \u00e9xito lleg\u00f3 al final de una larga jornada en la que los tres protagonistas se turnaron en cabeza en un emocionante torbellino de birdies y s\u00faper tiros. Con esta victoria Fitzpatrick entraba en el club de los ganadores de un major: hasta ayer nunca hab\u00eda ganado en Am\u00e9rica aunque pod\u00eda presumir de 7 \u00e9xitos en el Tour Europeo.Fitzpatrick ya hab\u00eda ganado el Us Amateur en 2013 justo en el campo del Brookline Country Club donde ayer repiti\u00f3 el \u00e9xito de nueve a\u00f1os antes. En la historia ha habido 13 para hacer el doblete, pero solo un jugador fue capaz de ganar los dos US Open -aficionados y profesionales- por el mismo camino: Jack Nicklaus en Pebble Beach. Reportar la excelente \u00faltima vuelta de Guido Migliozzi: un -4 del d\u00eda (66 golpes) que le permiti\u00f3 cerrar el torneo en la 14\u00aa posici\u00f3n con un total de +2.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
