En el cuarto trimestre, el producto interno bruto (PIB) aument\u00f3 un 0,6 por ciento en comparaci\u00f3n con el trimestre anterior, seg\u00fan anunci\u00f3 el viernes en Roma la autoridad de estad\u00edsticas Istat.  Se confirm\u00f3 una primera estimaci\u00f3n de finales de enero.  No se logr\u00f3 el fuerte crecimiento del trimestre de verano del 2,6 por ciento.\n<\/p>\n<p>    El crecimiento en el \u00faltimo trimestre estuvo respaldado por el aumento de las inversiones corporativas y el gasto de los consumidores.  El comercio exterior lastr\u00f3 el desarrollo, ya que las exportaciones se estancaron y las importaciones aumentaron.  En comparaci\u00f3n con el mismo trimestre del a\u00f1o anterior, el crecimiento general de la econom\u00eda fue de 6,2 por ciento.
