Las cifras de Statistics Netherlands (CBS) muestran que ni siquiera la mitad de los holandeses hacen suficiente ejercicio.  De acuerdo con las pautas de ejercicio del Consejo de Salud, los adultos deben realizar actividad f\u00edsica moderadamente intensa durante al menos 2,5 horas cada semana (caminar, andar en bicicleta, nadar) y los ni\u00f1os al menos una hora al d\u00eda.  Tambi\u00e9n se recomiendan actividades de fortalecimiento muscular y \u00f3seo para ambos grupos (atletismo, f\u00fatbol, \u200b\u200bbaile).
