Los agentes de Lierop y Helmond buscaron el coche. Al cabo de un rato, los agentes vieron pasar un coche con matr\u00edcula alemana. Cuando la polic\u00eda dio una se\u00f1al, el coche pareci\u00f3 seguirlos hasta la salida de Asten, pero justo antes el coche arranc\u00f3 a toda velocidad. <\/p>\n<p>La polic\u00eda los persigui\u00f3 a velocidades de hasta 200 kil\u00f3metros por hora. En Helenaveen, el coche estuvo a punto de quedar atrapado entre un cami\u00f3n y una barrera protectora cuando intent\u00f3 adelantar al cami\u00f3n por el arc\u00e9n. La persecuci\u00f3n pas\u00f3 por Limburgo y lleg\u00f3 a Alemania. La polic\u00eda alemana ya estaba esperando el coche y tom\u00f3 el relevo de la polic\u00eda holandesa. El coche tom\u00f3 una salida all\u00ed y finalmente se meti\u00f3 en un camino de tierra lleno de nieve y hielo en el bosque. El coche era demasiado r\u00e1pido para la polic\u00eda alemana. Poco despu\u00e9s, el coche fue encontrado sin conductor m\u00e1s lejos.
