Pero el pueblo hermano de Nieuw-Amsterdam\/Veenoord pronto podr\u00e1 contar con m\u00e1s aire. El municipio de Emmen quiere dar un amplio margen para la construcci\u00f3n de viviendas en la zona de Trumanstraat y en la antigua ubicaci\u00f3n del ayuntamiento de De Schalm.<\/p>\n<p> <!----><\/div>\n<div __component=\"api.api-text\" type=\"text\" id=\"65fb857c-a918-4c01-94cd-85757ceb26a4\" data-v-4f5883d4=\"\" data-v-26349d05=\"\">\n<p>Emmen est\u00e1 acelerando el desarrollo de nuevas viviendas. La demanda de viviendas ha aumentado r\u00e1pidamente y el municipio tambi\u00e9n lo ha notado. Hace cuatro a\u00f1os no hab\u00eda m\u00e1s terreno disponible para viviendas.<\/p>\n<p> <!----><\/div>\n<div __component=\"api.api-text\" type=\"text\" id=\"3a1b3577-230b-464e-aa31-c10f169b4959\" data-v-4f5883d4=\"\" data-v-26349d05=\"\">\n<p>Por ello, las fracciones Wakker Emmen, PvdA, CDA y D66 presentaron una moci\u00f3n en verano. Esto anim\u00f3 al ayuntamiento a apretar el acelerador y buscar plazas para nuevas viviendas.<\/p>\n<p> <!----><\/div>\n<div __component=\"api.api-text\" type=\"text\" id=\"b80517ae-ee78-49d2-b7a1-182ca88375d6\" data-v-4f5883d4=\"\" data-v-26349d05=\"\">\n<p>Al final, la elecci\u00f3n recay\u00f3 en nueve ubicaciones repartidas por todo el municipio, con capacidad para entre 200 y 400 viviendas. En esa lista tambi\u00e9n figuraban Trumanstraat y De Schalm. El a\u00f1o pasado se demolieron casas antiguas cerca de Truman Street. Ahora habr\u00e1 ocho viviendas unifamiliares, diecis\u00e9is viviendas adosadas y doce viviendas adosadas. Habr\u00e1 22 plazas de aparcamiento y quiz\u00e1s tambi\u00e9n un parque infantil.<\/p>\n<p> <!----><\/div>\n<div __component=\"api.api-text\" type=\"text\" id=\"57d64c0b-d223-4d59-b8c5-0d024dd8dcc8\" data-v-4f5883d4=\"\" data-v-26349d05=\"\">\n<p>La casa de pueblo De Schalm fue demolida en 2021 y trasladada junto con la biblioteca al centro de atenci\u00f3n de Oldersheem. El terreno bald\u00edo se utiliza actualmente como estacionamiento, pero eso ahora va a cambiar: se construir\u00e1 un complejo de apartamentos con entre doce y diecis\u00e9is viviendas. Seg\u00fan el municipio, esto deber\u00eda contribuir a la demanda de viviendas iniciales.<\/p>\n<p> <!----><\/div>\n<div __component=\"api.api-text\" type=\"text\" id=\"a20964d4-f784-49df-8125-160ae998b94a\" data-v-4f5883d4=\"\" data-v-26349d05=\"\">\n<p>El ayuntamiento de Emmen todav\u00eda no ha dado un golpe a ambos planes.
