Richard Korteland (VVD) parte hacia el municipio de Almelo.  Comenzar\u00e1 su nuevo trabajo en junio.<\/p>\n<p> <!----><\/div>\n<div __component=\"api.api-text\" type=\"text\" id=\"7694e52b-f3fd-4ac1-8e85-b0ce4208474b\" data-v-52a59154=\"\" data-v-e9df7484=\"\">\n<p>Korteland, de 44 a\u00f1os, sucede en Overijssel a Arjen Gerritsen, que abandon\u00f3 el cargo el a\u00f1o pasado y que anteriormente se hab\u00eda convertido en comisario del rey en Flevolanda.  Con m\u00e1s de 70.000 habitantes, Almelo es la quinta ciudad m\u00e1s grande de Overijssel, despu\u00e9s de Enschede, Zwolle, Deventer y Hengelo.<\/p>\n<p> <!----><\/div>\n<div __component=\"api.api-text\" type=\"text\" id=\"d7cc730a-6d0c-4841-ad6c-3e2ec6c977d7\" data-v-52a59154=\"\" data-v-e9df7484=\"\">\n<p>Korteland fue reelegido para otros seis a\u00f1os por el consejo municipal de Meppel en septiembre de 2022.  Antes de empezar a trabajar en Meppel, fue concejal del municipio de Papendrecht.<\/p>\n<p> <!----><\/div>\n<div __component=\"api.api-text\" type=\"text\" id=\"f4304f84-b5f4-4774-80e0-0de143b07bd8\" data-v-52a59154=\"\" data-v-e9df7484=\"\">\n<p>La vacante en Almelo atrajo a ocho candidatos.  El solicitante m\u00e1s joven ten\u00eda 25 a\u00f1os y ninguno de ellos era mujer.  El comisario del rey, Andries Heidema, llev\u00f3 a cabo las entrevistas de trabajo con los candidatos a alcalde.
