Este a\u00f1o nuestras provincias hermanas no estuvieron en el podio.  El campe\u00f3n defensor Janus van Kasteren se mostr\u00f3 profundamente decepcionado tras su cuarto puesto en camiones.  Los dem\u00e1s habitantes de Braband mostraron principalmente l\u00e1grimas de felicidad y alivio.  Martijn van de Broek tuvo una prueba final muy dif\u00edcil con su buggy y ten\u00eda miedo de abandonar.  Anja van Loon hizo historia al convertirse en la primera camionera holandesa en terminar el Rally Dakar.
