en el coche.  Con las piernas levantadas y los pies apoyados en el marco de la puerta.  \u201cSolo unos empujones m\u00e1s\u201d, grit\u00f3 la partera.  Aqu\u00ed vino la cabeza de nuestro Bente.  S\u00f3lo que no era mi intenci\u00f3n tenerla en mis brazos por primera vez en la carretera.  La partera hab\u00eda estado en nuestra casa 45 minutos antes.  Tuve contracciones cuidadosas y ella vino a comprobar qu\u00e9 tan dilatada estaba.  Cuatro cent\u00edmetros de zancada, as\u00ed que si \u00edbamos al hospital tranquilamente, seguramente llegar\u00eda a tiempo.  Me gust\u00f3 la idea de dar a luz en el hospital.  All\u00ed tambi\u00e9n las cosas hab\u00edan ido bien con nuestra primera hija.  Toda la asistencia m\u00e9dica est\u00e1 disponible si es necesario.  Se sent\u00eda como un lugar seguro y familiar.\n    <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"artstyle__title artstyle__title--luxe fu--luxe\" data-element-id=\"5037-2f47-26c9-1c8c-f642-5f33-3e3b-8a7e\">\n<p>      Abrumado<br \/>\n    <\/h3>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"792e-2923-ab10-1e7b-9e83-2560-b136-1a45\">\n<p>      Mi marido Luca y yo est\u00e1bamos en menos de cinco minutos en el hospital cuando me dieron unos puntos tan terribles en el est\u00f3mago que ya no pod\u00eda sentarme.  No pude soportarlo m\u00e1s, el dolor se volvi\u00f3 demasiado intenso.  Mientras tanto, la matrona nos segu\u00eda en su coche.  Decidimos detener nuestro auto en la carretera y dejar que ella me examinara.  Result\u00f3 que ya estaba completamente dilatada.  \u00bfEh, ya?  No hab\u00eda nada que hacer m\u00e1s que dar a luz en el arc\u00e9n.  No pens\u00e9 mucho en eso, descans\u00e9 mi mente e hice lo que ten\u00eda que hacer para traer a nuestro hijo al mundo.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"8148-4ab8-ed2a-2744-4762-f7e2-def1-b24f\">\n<p>      La matrona hab\u00eda llamado al 112 y pronto llegaron la polic\u00eda y la ambulancia.  Un fotoperiodista tambi\u00e9n escuch\u00f3 ese mensaje de emergencia.  Inicialmente ofreci\u00f3 su ayuda, pero cuando ya no fue necesario, agarr\u00f3 su c\u00e1mara.  Pudo tomar fotograf\u00edas de nosotros y de la situaci\u00f3n desde una distancia discreta.  Mi marido Luca cort\u00f3 el cord\u00f3n umbilical (desafortunadamente no hay fotos de ello) y luego nos llevaron en ambulancia al hospital.  No me di cuenta de cu\u00e1nta gente hab\u00eda a nuestro alrededor.  Estaba demasiado ocupada con el parto y luego en la ambulancia con la placenta que todav\u00eda ten\u00eda que extraer.  Antes de que pudi\u00e9ramos decirles a mis padres que ten\u00edan una nieta llamada Bente, Luca se lo cont\u00f3 accidentalmente al fotoperiodista y nuestra historia termin\u00f3 en l\u00ednea.  Est\u00e1bamos completamente abrumados por toda la atenci\u00f3n.  A la ma\u00f1ana siguiente un redactor de un programa de radio nos llam\u00f3 por tel\u00e9fono y quiso entrevistarnos.\n    <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"artstyle__title artstyle__title--luxe fu--luxe\" data-element-id=\"f0e3-5041-d622-6b0e-497a-62a6-6674-6976\">\n<p>      Marcador de hect\u00f3metro<br \/>\n    <\/h3>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"4db0-7637-b120-a136-bce3-6079-2e2f-e769\">\n<p>      Fue extra\u00f1o y muy, pero tambi\u00e9n muy divertido.  Recibimos regalos de gente que ni siquiera conoc\u00edamos y salimos en casi todos los peri\u00f3dicos.  Cuando un programa de entrevistas llam\u00f3 si quer\u00edamos ir al estudio esa noche, lo rechazamos.  Acababa de dar a luz, hab\u00eda pasado bastante tiempo en el coche y no quer\u00eda ir tambi\u00e9n a Hilversum.  Ahora tengo un \u00e1lbum lleno de recortes sobre el nacimiento de Bente.  Le mostrar\u00e9 todos esos cuando sea mayor.  Recibimos del Rijkswaterstaat el hect\u00f3metro del lugar donde naci\u00f3.  Ahora est\u00e1 en su habitaci\u00f3n.
