El clima estaba sombr\u00edo.  Hab\u00eda un ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o que jugaba solo con indiferencia con un tractor de pl\u00e1stico.  En un banco estaban sentadas dos mujeres de unos 35 a\u00f1os, junto a ellas estaba un perro grande, peludo y blanco como la nieve, llamado Samoyedo.  (Una palabra rusa que literalmente significa &#8220;devorador de s\u00ed mismo&#8221;. Extra\u00f1o.)\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"f5e3-42c3-7d61-1aae-a835-b020-ec4d-0ed3\">\n<p>      &#8220;Y ahora Govertje vuelve a tener una infecci\u00f3n de o\u00eddo&#8221;, se queja la mujer de la izquierda.  &#8216;Ya termin\u00e9 completamente con esto.  Y luego esa Navidad de mierda.  La mujer de la derecha asinti\u00f3 pasivamente.  &#8220;\u00bfQuieres un panecillo de grosellas?&#8221;, dijo. El ni\u00f1o no levant\u00f3 la vista.  \u201cNo importa, est\u00e1 muy sordo\u201d, dijo la mujer de la izquierda.  &#8216;Esas orejas, \u00bfeh?  Y acaba de terminar un croissant.  Oh, bueno, la mayor parte est\u00e1 en el suelo de la cocina&#8230;&#8217;\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"8f0f-f30f-7532-3955-49cd-7f98-cce0-440c\">\n<p>      Mientras me quitaba la piedra del zapato, una familia joven y alegremente sonriente entr\u00f3 en el patio de recreo.  Un hombre, una mujer y una ni\u00f1a peque\u00f1a, los tres de baja estatura, con cabello oscuro y brillante y ojos marrones.  Hablaban un espa\u00f1ol r\u00e1pido e ininteligible.  El hombre llevaba un gran altavoz port\u00e1til.  Lo coloc\u00f3 sobre el banco y presion\u00f3 un bot\u00f3n sin contemplaciones.  All\u00ed sonaron con fuerza los primeros acordes de guitarra del \u00e9xito navide\u00f1o. <i>feliz Navidad<\/i>.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"3e6a-bb1b-30bd-e489-f8fa-2a7f-e7d9-c082\">\n<p>      &#8216;Quiero desearte una feliz Navidad, quiero desearte una feliz Navidad&#8217;, resonaba en el patio de recreo lluvioso.  &#8216;Feliz Navidad, feliz Navidad&#8230;&#8217; Los espa\u00f1oles cantaron en voz alta y aplaudieron.  La hija bail\u00f3.  El ni\u00f1o miraba con la boca abierta.  Las dos mujeres sentadas en el banco guardaron silencio, consternadas.  El perro miraba de reojo los bollos de pasas.  &#8216;Feliz Navidad, feliz Navidad&#8230;&#8217;\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"bff4-48e0-6f7d-a960-1836-e22d-a0eb-1580\">\n<p>      El padre le grit\u00f3 algo a su hija mientras se re\u00eda.  La ni\u00f1a se acerc\u00f3 al ni\u00f1o y le ofreci\u00f3 la mano a modo de invitaci\u00f3n.  Dio un salto hacia atr\u00e1s asustado y corri\u00f3 hacia su madre.  El perro ladr\u00f3.  &#8216;Feliz Navidad, feliz Navidad&#8230;&#8217;\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"73e5-ae70-51e9-f5c3-5536-55c8-d462-6bfc\">\n<p>      Los espa\u00f1oles gritaron un poco m\u00e1s de risa juntos, el padre levant\u00f3 el altavoz y la familia volvi\u00f3 a desaparecer, en direcci\u00f3n a la Casa del T\u00e9 Azul, mientras los sonidos del villancico se apagaban lentamente.  &#8216;Feliz Navidad, pr\u00f3spero a\u00f1o y felicidad&#8230;&#8217;\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"artstyle__paragraph \" data-element-id=\"3f93-c4df-b492-9ffb-dd97-6736-0f79-787e\">\n<p>      &#8220;Nuestro \u00e1rbol ya se est\u00e1 cayendo&#8221;, continu\u00f3 la mujer de la izquierda, como si nada hubiera pasado.  &#8216;Con cargas al d\u00eda.  Esta ma\u00f1ana las agujas estaban incluso en mi caf\u00e9.  el perro bostez\u00f3.
