Los ciclistas, el tr\u00e1fico agr\u00edcola, el tr\u00e1fico de autom\u00f3viles a 90 km\/h y los distintos cruces provocan hoy situaciones de inseguridad.  Por este motivo, el gobierno flamenco ha decidido convertir la N49 en autopista.
