El legendario exdelantero del Ajax, Feyenoord y PSV, entre otros, se convirti\u00f3 en m\u00e1ximo goleador de la Eredivisie nada menos que cinco veces a lo largo de su carrera, un r\u00e9cord.<\/p>\n<article class=\"embed-block\">\n<section class=\"web-embed body-style body-style--s1 embed-block__content\"\/><\/article>\n<aside aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"banner banner--wsc-r1 banner--hide-double-column\"\/>\n<div class=\"textblock paragraph\">\n<p>Geels comenz\u00f3 su carrera profesional en la d\u00e9cada de 1960 en Telstar y jug\u00f3 sucesivamente para Feyenoord, Go Ahead Eagles, Club Brugge, Ajax, Anderlecht, Sparta Rotterdam, PSV y NAC Breda.  Jug\u00f3 veinte veces para la selecci\u00f3n holandesa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"textblock paragraph\">\n<p>Geels, considerado un destacado especialista, marc\u00f3 muchos goles en casi todos sus clubes.  Marc\u00f3 la mayor\u00eda de sus goles en el Ajax, donde marc\u00f3 123 goles en 131 partidos entre 1974 y 1978.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"textblock paragraph\">\n<p>Su producci\u00f3n de goles le vali\u00f3 a Geels el t\u00edtulo de m\u00e1ximo goleador de la Eredivisie en 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978 y 1981 (en este \u00faltimo a\u00f1o jug\u00f3 en el Sparta).  Hasta ahora ning\u00fan otro jugador ha sido el m\u00e1ximo goleador de la liga holandesa con tanta frecuencia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"textblock paragraph\">\n<p>En 1970, Geels form\u00f3 parte del equipo del Feyenoord que gan\u00f3 la Copa de Europa.
