Yngvar Numme was the vocalist and leader of Dizzie Tunes, which had a number of revues and musical shows, including on Chat Noir. Dizzie Tunes consisted of Yngvar Numme, Tor Erik Gunstrøm, Svein Helge Høgberg, Øyvind Klingberg and Einar Idland. They started in 1959 and entertained the Norwegian people on stage until 2001. Numme was also featured in several entertainment programs on TV, and received the Leonard award in 1990, which is the highest award for a Norwegian revue. He received the King’s Medal of Merit in gold in 2022.
