Yngvar Numme was born in Porsgrunn, grew up in Skien and eventually moved to Sandefjord. Today he is buried from Sandefjord church. Numme died in Spain on 25 November. He lived to be 79 years old. We know that you pleased many people over five decades and we are so incredibly proud of that. Yngvar Numme had a long career as an artist, actor, director and revue writer. He was the vocalist and frontman of the show group Dizzie Tunes. During his career, Numme received several awards, including Norwegian revue’s highest award, the Leonard statuette, in 1990. Three years later, Dizzie Tunes received the same honour.
