Several have been evacuated by helicopter, others had to flee onto the roofs of trucks. To the radio channel Cadena Ser, a man in Alfafar municipality told that he had spent the night together with eight people on the roof of a tanker. Over 400 soldiers are assisting in the rescue work in the region affected by the flood.
