On Wednesday, the outrigger was reconnected to shore after it was temporarily removed last Friday due to high waves.  Aid began arriving by sea to Gaza via the US jetty on May 17, but operations have been interrupted several times.  Bad weather and safety considerations are part of the reason, in addition to rough seas causing damage that required repairs.
