This comes after the UN Security Council approved a US resolution proposal on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Monday.  &#8211; Israel confirms support The statement from Hamas comes at the same time that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in the Middle East.  He has tried to put forward a proposal for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.  According to Blinken, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reconfirmed that he is committed to the proposal, writes Reuters.  The UN Security Council on Monday approved a US resolution proposal on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.  Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri told Reuters on Monday that they accepted the proposal and were ready to negotiate the details.  The talks will continue over the next few days.  Possible air attack The statement from Hamas comes at the same time as the Israeli military reports that the aircraft alarms are going off in the port city of Haifa, in the north of Israel.  They warn of a possible air attack, writes Reuters.  It does not appear from which direction it may come from.  Earlier on Tuesday, the IDF said it had intercepted &#8220;a suspicious air target&#8221; outside Haifa.
