Johannes H\u00f8sflot Kl\u00e6bo wreaked havoc in the world cup in Lahti last weekend, and strengthened his position as the best cross-country skier in the world with three victories on the rap. He does that without being part of the Norwegian cross-country team. Former teammate P\u00e5l Golberg therefore believes that Kl\u00e6bu should be. In November, Golberg told news that neither Johannes H\u00f8sflot Kl\u00e6bo nor Kristine Stav\u00e5s Skistad should be allowed to compete in the World Cup if they chose to stand outside the national team, due to the regulations of the Ski Association. – Want the best on the team The regulations state that runners who decline a place in the national team should not be selected to represent the Ski Association for the current season, unless there are special circumstances. But Kl\u00e6bo, who, among other things, wanted to carry out a different assembly plan than the rest of the national team, eventually landed a representation agreement with the association to be able to participate in the World Cup. The association believed that the desire for its own collection scheme was a “special circumstance”. The same applied to Stav\u00e5s Skistad and Astrid \u00d8yre Slind. When news meets Golberg and Kl\u00e6bo in connection with the World Cup competitions in Lahti, Golberg confirms that it is still his wish. – Yes, I told him that. Opening up for national team return The end of the conflict with the Ski Association and Kl\u00e6bo before the season was, as mentioned, a standard representation agreement.
