A great many football players in age-specific classes from large parts of Norway know the stadium through participation in the Hydro Cup tournament.  On the night of Wednesday, a boulder thundered down the steep mountainside and smashed one of the team managers&#8217; benches on the touchline.  It was the newspaper Driva that mentioned the case first.  The artificial grass track and a hiking trail in the area are closed until the municipality has an overview of the situation.  &#8211; Large amounts of loose rock 3-400 meters up the mountainside.  Most were caught by a rubble mound just above the stadium.  But this stone has rotated and has come over the embankment and straight down into the stadium, says Bj\u00f8rn R\u00f8kkum to news. Photo: Tommy Fossum \/ Driva The latest investigations show that large parts of the stone masses have spread over a larger area on the slope outside the stadium.  &#8211; This large rock has crushed the substitutes&#8217; bench on the touchline, R\u00f8kkum says.  The artificial grass track at the Sande stadium is now closed.  &#8211; We put up signs and barricades.  The surrounding area with the hiking trail is also closed.  We will then make a closer assessment in a few days.  It has been a long-lasting, continuous rainy season for large parts of July.  R\u00f8kkum sees a connection between the environment and the leap that has taken place.  &#8211; It rained heavily last night.  And we reckon the landslide has come as a result of this, he says.
