The Houthis have claimed responsibility for the attack on the ship, the American-owned True Confidence.  It sails under the Barbadian flag.  The attack occurred off Yemen&#8217;s southern coast, near the city of Aden, on Wednesday.  According to the AP news agency, which is confirmed by unnamed US officials that the attack caused &#8220;several deaths&#8221;, these are the first deaths as a result of the Houthis&#8217; attack in the waters of the region.
