He starts the post by saying that he feels he needs to clarify his role.  Str\u00f8m\u00f8y writes that he was informed about the assault verdict when he spoke to the police a few weeks before publication of the series.  &#8211; I forwarded the verdict to the editorial staff and editor, and that was my last involvement with this case.  After this I know that it was the ethics editor, district editor and broadcasting manager who decided what to do with this.  I just noticed that the sentence was not included in the series.  Furthermore, Str\u00f8m\u00f8y writes that he believes that the impression being created now is wrong.  &#8211; It is a completely wrong impression that is being created in the media now, that I have any responsibility or influence on this election.  I am otherwise unsure whether the management&#8217;s decision is correct.
