The grave is four meters long and over two meters wide, and was found just south of Vestkapp in Selje in Vestland.  Far down in the sand, the graves have been sealed for several thousand years.  When a famous carpenter&#8217;s son was born in Bethlehem, the grave was already 2,000 years old.  &#8211; The grave is as old as the pyramids in Egypt, says Ramstad.  Unique bone finds Human bone material found at the site is so well preserved that researchers can get answers to how old they were, where they came from and how exactly they ended up in Western Norway.  So-called stone coffin graves were previously only found in Buskerud, \u00d8stfold and in Denmark.  Never in the West.  And the grave is rarely well preserved.  &#8211; What is special is that sand has settled over the grave.  We had to dig deep into the sand here before we found the grave, says archaeologist and project manager Trond Eilev Linge.  Can give answers to agricultural riddles Agriculture came to Norway around NOK 3950 BC, when Scandinavia&#8217;s first agricultural culture was established in the area around the Oslofjord.  But when the same culture came to Western Norway has been a mystery.  Now the puzzle is a little less.  &#8211; This makes it possible for us to gain completely new insight into the early agricultural phase, says Linge.
