That&#8217;s what Christine Meyer (H) writes on her Facebook page.  Meyer guaranteed in the election campaign that the Conservative Party will not have a rematch on the biggest political issue in Bergen: Whether the Bybanen should go in front of Bryggen or not.  That is why it surprised many when she opened the door wide open for this on election night.  It did not take many days before she went out and assured that it was not. Now there is another tone from Meyer and the Conservative Party in Bergen.  Pointing to Bakervik, Meyer writes that she has spoken to city council leader Rune Bakervik and asked him if he wants to step aside for a Conservative-led city council.  In the conversation, she is said to have assured him that they would not enter into a rematch for the light rail route to \u00c5sane.  Bakervik is said to have rejected this, according to Meyer.  Therefore, the Conservative Party will enter into talks with parties that want an investigation into a tunnel alternative in the hope of gaining more support for a Conservative-led city council.  &#8211; We want a new city council, as the voters have clearly voted for.  Therefore, we will now explore the possibilities for a collaboration with the parties who want an investigation into a tunnel alternative for the light rail.  The people of Bergen have spoken out and voted for parties that want this.  &#8211; The Conservative Party has not gone to the polls in this period to investigate a tunnel alternative.
