This is reported by Ringerikes Blad.  According to the newspaper, the deceased man is in his 50s and from \u00d8ystre Slidre municipality in Valdres.  The next of kin have been notified.  It was Thursday evening at 6pm that the emergency services went to E16 on Steins\u00e5sen.  The man was taken to Ullev\u00e5l hospital by air ambulance.  The police characterized it as a serious traffic accident.  Operations manager at the S\u00f8r\u00f8st police district, Espen Reite, said the following to news: &#8211; There is a motorbike involved in the traffic accident.  We have spoken to several witnesses at the scene and they all confirm the same thing: It is a single accident.  Reite says that witnesses at the scene started with CPR before paramedics took over and then crews from the air ambulance that arrived at the scene at 7pm.  At 19.12 the police inform that the motorbike driver has been flown to Ullev\u00e5l hospital for further treatment.
