In 2015, a 19-year-old girl reported a rape at a Russian meeting at Fredriksten fortress in Halden. Among other things, they have monitored him and taken a hidden DNA sample. In total, the police collected 1,000 DNA samples after the rape was reported eight years ago. – This case has been part of a pilot project in Kripos, where family databases have been used to be able to identify DNA, says police attorney Kreutz. – Based on this and a tactical investigation, the Eastern Police District has charged one person. Does not plead guilty The accused man does not plead guilty. – He has cooperated and given his explanation where the charge has been refuted. For the sake of the correct and efficient investigation, we cannot comment on the case itself, says the man’s defender Erik Ulves\u00e6ter to news. The man has not been detained.
