And several, for example the Skiing Association, will meet the candidates in the coming days. One of the special associations that now gives open support to Kj\u00f8ll’s opponent Zaineb Al-Samarai is the Cricket Association. – I think she will be a good representative for Sports Norway. I think there are actually many people who will recognize and associate themselves with Zaineb as sports president, says cricket president Yousuf Gilani. Following a board decision, the Rugby Union is clear about who they believe has the broadest and longest experience to drive NIF forward, both sportingly and business-wise, so that the goals are achieved. Rugby president Per Thorkildsen points out that NIF is a very complex company to manage. – We are ready there. Berit has the experience. We think that the other candidate does not have the experience and she should perhaps take a couple of years on the board to learn more, says Thorkildsen. The Rytterforbundet also supports Kj\u00f8ll, but they do not want to deepen their support. In the past, handball president K\u00e5re Geir Lio has also been active outwardly in fronting the Handball Association’s support for Kj\u00f8ll – There is a divisional difference.
