The next of kin have been notified, says head of investigation in S\u00f8r-West police district, Morten Vestb\u00f8.  The man must have taken part in a climbing expedition, and was on his way up the mountain Aconcuaga, says Vestb\u00f8 to VG, which first covered the case.  Aconcuaga is the highest mountain in the western hemisphere with a height of 6962 metres.
