30 January 2023 at 20:30 Person missing from boat in the Barents Sea A person was reported missing from a boat east of the island of Hopen at 19:05 on Monday evening. Rescue manager at the Northern Norway Central Rescue Service (HRS), \u00d8yvind Aadde, tells news that the boat is searching for the missing person with searchlights. A helicopter from the Governor of Svalbard is on its way, and the coast guard ship “Harstad” has also been sent there, news is informed by HRS. Several boats should be on their way to the site.
