The founder of Inditex has just closed a new purchase in the Netherlands: a huge logistics center<\/a> near the German border for 132 million euros. In less than three years, Ortega\u2019s investment firm, Pontegadea, has allocated almost 390 million euros into logistics infrastructure in the country. In the new logistics center, the primary tenants are renowned brands Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, both under the umbrella of the American company PVH (Phillips-Van-Heusen). These financially robust brands provide a stable rental income with low risk for Pontegadea.<\/p>\n

Ortega\u2019s Ongoing Commitment to Logistics<\/h3>\n

This recent transaction is not Ortega’s first foray into Dutch logistics; in 2025, Pontegadea acquired another logistics center in Hoofddorp for 145 million euros, leased to the operator GXO. That center was considered the largest logistics deal of 2025. In 2023, they further expanded their portfolio with a logistics warehouse of 103,000 m3<\/sup> in Venlo, which brought in 105 million euros.<\/p>\n
