It comes as a response to AUF leader Astrid Hoem taking a tough stand with Trond Giske during the Debate on NRK1. Astrid Hoem believes that the former deputy leader of the party is responsible for the unrest in the party now. – I do not disagree with anything Trond says. But I think Trond must recognize that he is part of the problem that many people find it difficult to talk about politics, said Hoem. – Embarrassing attack The statements came in connection with a debate about support for the Labor Party. Hoem believes Giske damages Ap when he constantly criticizes the party. Her statements are supported by the Prime Minister. – I think she is right about a lot. I understand what Astrid Hoem says on behalf of young people, but also many others in the Labor Party, Jonas Gahr St\u00f8re told news on Friday. On Wednesday, the Labor Party received a support of 16.9 per cent in a poll carried out for FriFagfevegelse, Avisenes Nyhetsbyr\u00e5 (ANB) and Dagsavisen. – I think it was a bit embarrassing that she should attack Trond when we discuss the low support that was now. Therefore, several people point out that we must now stop attacking each other and rather focus on politics. – I think the voters, the people, want politicians who care about them and their everyday challenges. Not internal discord and personal attacks, says Bj\u00f8rnbet. – I am convinced that internal strife and personal attacks are not the solution. I don’t think we’ll win a single voter on that. Langs\u00e5vold believes people in the party must now stop bringing up Giske’s past. – Continuing to tear up what happened several years ago does not benefit politics. We have put that behind us in the Tr\u00f8ndelag Labor Party. We must also have a policy that benefits most people, he says. L\u00f8kken believes the criticism of Giske contributes to continued division in the party. – Personally, I feel that trust in the leadership of the party is not increasing. I think we have a lot going for us in the Tr\u00f8ndelag Labor Party. I feel the road is quite long from Tr\u00f8ndelag to Youngstorget at the moment.
