Surprisingly, Inditex, the textile powerhouse founded by Amancio Ortega, is taking the opposite approach. The company has announced plans for a substantial new corporate campus, positioned prominently next to the iconic Three Chimneys in Barcelona’s metropolitan area.<\/p>\n

This ambitious project aims to relocate the headquarters of four prominent Inditex brands\u2014Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Oysho, and Lefties\u2014from Tordera (located in Maresme) to Sant Adri\u00e0 de Bes\u00f2s. This move not only transforms an old industrial site into a vibrant business hub but also signals a renewed investment in an area that has long awaited revitalization.<\/p>\n

Following the municipal decree passed on February 27, 2026, a month-long public review period for objections will take place.<\/p>\n

If all proceeds according to schedule, the partial opening of the new campus is projected for 2028, with final project completion expected by 2030.
